PROCEDURE / APPLICATION

The socket fusion technique consists of simultaneously heating both the external surface of the pipe end and the internal surface of the socket fitting until the material reaches the recommended fusion temperature.

DESCRIPTION: The HAYES CG Series is our commercial-grade heating iron line. These tools are derived from the best quality materials and parts on the market. The heating plate itself is formed from the highest-grade aluminum alloy which allows the heating plate to give optimal performance for heat preservation.

The inside components are made using the latest technology. The internal board delivers more accurate and sensitive heat transference between the outside heating plate and the digital board.

With special instructions you can switch the temperature mode between Fahrenheit and Celsius. The digital display is very simple and easy to operate. This makes for a very smart piece of equipment.


HY PRO HEATING IRON KIT

DESCRIPTION: The HAYES HY PRO Series is the new digital socket fusion pipe welder (heating tool) that is suitable for joining a variety of thermoplastic pipes and fittings for different applications in the industry. This machine can weld HDPE (Polyethylene), PP-R (Polypropylene), PB (Polybutene).
Our heating tool is designed and manufactured according to the American international standard ASTM F2620. Our line of ancillary accessories such as heating adapters, cold ring pliers and chamfer/depth gages are manufactured to ASTM F1056 guidelines, which will assist in completing a quality fusion consistently if the pipe manufacturer’s procedures are followed carefully.

SOCKET HEATING IRON – COATED FACED


DEFINITIONS:
 A Non-Stick Socket faces is a block of heat conducting material that attaches to the heating tool and is dimensioned to melt the internal surface of the fitting socket and the external surface of the pipe.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Non-Stick Socket faces for welding plastic pipes with heating iron. Each Size is sold in male and female pairs. 3 layers of Non-Stick Coating.

CHAMFER TOOL DEPTH GAUGE

DEFINITIONS: A chamfer tool with depth gauge is a device that is used to chamfer the outside edge of the pipe. The chamfer allows the pipe end to easily enter the pipe heater face and easily enter the heated fitting. The depth gauge is a device that is used to locate the rounding clamp a prescribed distance from the end of the pipe.

ROUNDING CLAMPS – COLD RINGS – VICE GRIP

DEFINITIONS: Rounding clamps or cold rings is a device that is clamped around the pipe to round the pipe and limit the distance the pipe end goes into the pipe heater face and the socket fitting.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Cold Ring Locking Pliers. Solid construction with locking-plier configuration and 1022 carbon steel ring.
